NotebookLM Prompt Guide for Course Modules

Introduction to Prompt Use

This prompt guide is meant to help city and municipal planners maximize NotebookLM as their AI planning assistant while they go through the course.

Each module provides prompts that:

• Summarize and contextualize local data and reference materials stored in NotebookLM.

• Generate draft planning outputs directly usable in official LGU plans.

• Align outputs with the 7 Plays of the Mayor’s Blue Economy Playbook.

Participants should copy-paste prompts into NotebookLM, refine the outputs, and integrate them into their municipal planning documents.

Module 1: Situational Analysis & Policy Scan (Play 1 – Policy & Governance Framework)

Prompts:

1. “Summarize the Blue Economy situation of [Municipality] using available datasets and references in NotebookLM.”

2. “List existing national and local policies relevant to coastal, fisheries, and blue economy management in [Municipality].”

3. “Draft a Blue Economy Situational Analysis section for inclusion in the CDP situationer.”

4. “Generate a draft outline of a Marine Zoning Ordinance based on local context and national guidance.”

Module 2: Community Engagement & Education (Play 2 – Community Engagement)

Prompts:

1. “Identify key stakeholder groups in [Municipality] affected by Blue Economy initiatives (fisherfolk, women, youth, schools, tourism operators).”

2. “Draft a Stakeholder Engagement Plan for Blue Economy integration in the CDP.”

Module 5: Conservation & Climate Resilience (Play 5 – Conservation & Resilience)
